I personally started playing lacrosse my junior year of high school. I played basketball my entire life, and lacrosse is essentially basketball on a larger field and with a stick. I picked it up pretty quickly and started loving the sport. I wish I got involved with it sooner, but I am glad I still got involved at all. I made many new friends in high school from playing lacrosse and I also made so many memories all while staying in shape and bettering myself physically and mentally. I played two semesters of club lacrosse in college my freshman year, and there I also met so many new people and was able to travel to many different states to play colleges in tournaments.
